Who We Serve

Built for Every Link in the Agricultural Chain

A 400-hectare family operation and a multinational sourcing desk need opposite things from the same harvest. We speak both languages — literally and commercially.

Producers & Growers

Field-level agronomy, input supply on credit terms, and a route to buyers who pay for quality instead of averaging you into a commodity price.

  • Soil and tissue analysis with a written nutrition plan
  • Certified seed, biologicals, and crop protection at volume pricing
  • Harvest timing and post-harvest handling guidance
  • Direct introductions to export-grade buyers

Agribusinesses

Volume procurement without the surprise. Origin diversification, contracted supply windows, and documentation that survives a customs audit.

  • Multi-origin sourcing across 10 countries
  • Contracted supply calendars, not spot scrambles
  • Quality specs enforced at origin, not at destination
  • Consolidated logistics and cold-chain coordination

International Partners

On-the-ground capability without opening an office. We are your agronomy team, your QC inspector, and your Spanish-speaking counterparty.

  • Local entity handling, permits, and phytosanitary filings
  • Pre-shipment inspection with photographic reporting
  • Bilingual contract and dispute coordination
  • Market-entry advisory for new LATAM origins
Services

Complete Agricultural Support, From Field to Market

Eight service lines that plug in individually or run end to end. Most clients start with one and consolidate once they see the margin difference on a single lot.

Agronomy Advisory

Crop-specific nutrition, pest pressure modelling, and irrigation scheduling built on your own soil data — not a regional average.

Seeds & Inputs

Certified seed, biologicals, fertilizers, and crop protection sourced at volume and delivered to the gate on your planting calendar.

Procurement & Sourcing

Grains, pulses, coffee, cacao, and specialty crops sourced against a written spec with origin traceability attached to every lot.

Export Advisory

Market access, phytosanitary documentation, tariff classification, and buyer coordination so lots clear the first time.

Logistics & Cold Chain

Inland haulage, consolidation, reefer booking, and temperature audit trails from the packhouse to the destination port.

Certification Support

GlobalG.A.P., organic, Rainforest Alliance, and Fair Trade readiness — gap audit, corrective plan, and inspection accompaniment.

Traceability Systems

Lot-level digital records from planting to container seal, exportable to your buyer's platform or a QR code on the carton.

Risk & Finance Advisory

Input credit structuring, crop insurance placement, and FX exposure planning for producers selling into hard currency.

How We Work

Five Steps From First Call to Cleared Container

No open-ended retainers. Every engagement has a defined start, a measurable deliverable, and a season it answers to.

01

Diagnostic

Field visit, soil and water sampling, and a review of your last two cycles' input and yield records.

02

Plan

A written agronomy and commercial plan with input volumes, timing, target specs, and expected margin.

03

Execute

Inputs delivered, applications supervised, and pest pressure monitored through the growing window.

04

Harvest & QC

Harvest timing, post-harvest handling, grading against buyer spec, and pre-shipment inspection.

05

Move & Settle

Documentation, booking, container seal, and settlement — with a post-season debrief for next cycle.

Outcomes

Proven Results in Real Operations

Three engagements, three different problems, one common thread — a number the client could take to their board.

Soy · Paraguay Aerial view of a large soy operation
+18%Yield increase, cycle over cycle

A 4,000-hectare soy operation was over-applying nitrogen on three of seven blocks. Grid sampling and a revised nutrition plan cut input spend while lifting yield.

4,000 ha2 cycles
Avocado · Michoacán Avocado orchard under irrigation
30%Less water per exported kilo

Soil moisture probes plus scheduled irrigation replaced calendar watering. Fruit size held, export grade improved, and pumping cost fell by nearly a third.

620 ha18 months
Coffee · Colombia Coffee cherries being sorted at a washing station
200+Smallholders reaching premium buyers

Lot-level traceability and cupping documentation let a grower association bypass the local intermediary and contract directly with two European roasters.

What Operators Say After a Full Season

“
We had three agronomists before Agrosur and none of them ever showed us a number. The first plan we got had input cost, expected yield, and a break-even on one page. We have not changed advisors since.
RMRicardo MendozaOwner, 4,000 ha soy — Paraguay
“
Our problem was never finding product. It was finding product that cleared customs without a fight. Agrosur handles the paperwork at origin and our rejection rate went from uncomfortable to effectively zero.
AKAnneke KrugerSourcing Director, EU importer
“
The traceability work paid for itself in one harvest. Buyers stopped treating our coffee as a regional blend and started paying for the specific farm. That is the whole difference for our members.

Questions

Answers Before You Pick Up the Phone

For direct agronomy engagements we generally start at around 200 hectares, because that is where a written plan pays for itself inside one cycle. Below that, smallholders usually work with us through a grower association or cooperative — we run several of those relationships and the economics work well at that structure.

Median turnaround is 3.2 hours during LATAM business hours for crops we hold active origin relationships in. For a new crop or a new origin, expect two to three business days while we verify supply and confirm the phytosanitary pathway to your destination market.

Both, depending on the structure you want. We can act as a disclosed agent on a fee basis, or take title and sell to you on a delivered basis with the quality risk sitting on our side. Most first-time buyers start on an agency basis and move to delivered once they have seen two or three lots.

Every lot ships with a pre-shipment inspection report and photographic evidence against the agreed spec, so the first thing we do is compare origin condition against arrival condition. Where the gap is ours, we carry it — on delivered terms that means replacement or credit. Our trailing-year clearance rate is 98.4%.

Yes. Certification support is a standalone service line. We run a gap audit against the standard you are targeting, write the corrective action plan, help implement record-keeping, and accompany the certification body during inspection. Typical GlobalG.A.P. readiness runs four to seven months depending on starting condition.

English and Spanish across the whole organisation, plus Portuguese in our Brazil office. Contracts, inspection reports, and technical plans are issued bilingually as standard so both sides of a transaction are reading the same document.

Agronomy is a per-hectare seasonal fee. Procurement is either a percentage of lot value on agency terms or built into the delivered price. Certification and traceability projects are fixed-scope with a defined deliverable. Nothing is an open-ended retainer, and every proposal states what happens if the season goes sideways.
